"Eclectic Evenings" at Hollywood + Highland:
Green Galactic would like to invite you all to a free Music, Art + Wine outdoor
Summer Series that has been in the works for the past month of so. It all
begins/began this week(!).
Hollywood + Highland (the big entertainment and retail complex at the
corner of that intersection) is launching "Eclectic Evenings" for
6 weeks.
It started last night.
From July 20, 2004 - August 26, 2004 "Eclectic Evenings" will run
every
Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:00pm - 11:00pm and it's free.
Tuesday nights are presented by Jazz station KKJZ and Thursday nights are
hosted by PR firm and event promotions company Green Galactic :).
For my Thursday nights I was able to curate/book an eclectic mix (indeed)
of live electronic artists, "rock" for lack of a better term and
new
media/video artists. Please check out the entire schedule of Thursday
nights below.
Also, each night the Santa Barbara Vintner's Association will present a
different winery in their VIP wine-tasting tent. Our wonderful media
sponsor's for the series are LA CityBEAT and Urb magazine.

Tomorrow night is String Theory. Next week (7/29) we welcome Sunday
Afternoon (a soft-rock band from Tucson), and experimental electronic
artists j.frede and Shuttle358 and the video art of Richard Head.
