Working under the name MVFS, Danny
Zelonky (aka Low Res/Crank) and Dimitri
Fergadis (Phthalocyanine) used careless
indiscretion in the production of their Many Very Fine
Songs album due out June 15, 2001 on the Belgian
Aim-Records imprint. This "vividly tasteless" collection
traces their doomed collaboration from 1995 until its demise
in 1999, when the two artists, in a manner somewhat
reminiscent of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, permanently
dissolved their partnership. The music is acrimonious, too,
except the tender Aftermarch, which also appears on the new
Intermissions compilation on
Plug
Research.
