Release date: June, 2001

Lunatic Calm’s sHack steps forward with his own Elite Force solo project.  A unique brand of techno, 4/4 beats and breaks, Elite Force debuts on the UK’s acclaimed Whole9Yards label with “Gasoline Alley.”

“Gasoline Alley” is a deep and infectious groove, with a hint of dirty acid that keeps on building. The arrangement and movement of this track clearly illustrates sHack’s expertise in the art of crowd control, and “Gasoline Alley” locks down the dancefloor, as certified by the first to roadtest the track including:

Anthony Pappa
(“Both sides are great!!”)
Aquasky (“In the box!!”).

On the flipside, W9Y collaborator and BlueBlack head honcho DYLAN RHYMES turns in a deep and dubby breakbeat mix that keeps the funk throughout but builds gradually into a heavyweight slab of bumping bass.

2001 has already been busy for Elite Force with releases in the US of a remix EP of Lunatic Calm tracks on City Of Angels and an EP of previously unavailable material on Leftwing Recordings. The rest of the year shows no sign of slowing down and Elite Force’s follow up for W9Y has already been scheduled.
