Devolver Digital Films is proud to announce the digital VOD release of the bicycle adventure film, A Survey of Open Space. Directed by multimedia artist/filmmaker Peat Duggins, the new feature-length documentary follows a pair of urbanites who embark on a 4000-mile bicycle ride in search of the last wild place in America. Set in the wake of America’s great western expansion, the film is a portrait of bike touring and a meditation on wilderness. Duggins is an established artist working in several media, including film, and his art is in public and private collections. The digital VOD (Video on Demand) release is scheduled for August 5, 2014 through Devolver. The film will be available via iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, PlayStation, Xbox, VUDU, Vimeo on Demand, VHX, Google Play, and others.
